Siemens Industry Software builds smart solutions to help manufacturers become digital enterprises – and the smart people who build the solutions are the company’s biggest asset.
In a fast-moving industry, technology accelerates quickly, and the cutting-edge solutions delivered by industry-leading experts are critical to client innovation. That’s why, for Siemens Industry Software, fostering a culture of wellbeing at work is a key driver for development.
Siemens Industry Software’s collaboration with Wellbeing Superstars kicked off in January 2023, and the first year’s results are impressive: coaching has impacted every single employee at some level.
“Siemens Industry Software is the fourth Siemens company that we have the honour of working with,” says Wellbeing Superstars’ Managing Director Antti Luukkanen. “The company’s experts are located across Finland, and our main objective was to bring the work community together and to integrate wellbeing as part of the company’s everyday life and operations.”
Coaching kicked off with an Energy Test, a comprehensive wellbeing mapping exercise providing information on health status, body performance, and overall energy levels. The Energy Test was repeated at the end of the year for a 365-degree view of personal development.
During the course of the year, coaching focused on the foundations of wellbeing, sleep and recovery, managing cognitive and physical loads, and building a resilient everyday life led by people capable of adapting to change.
Little by little, wellbeing has become a normalised topic at team meetings and conversations between colleagues, explored through weekly coaching headlines, tasks and videos.
And the numbers at the 11-month mark speak for themselves. An amazing 100% of Siemens Industry Software team members have engaged with the coaching, activated their account in the HeiaHeia wellbeing app, shared their wellbeing actions and activities with their community, and supported each other.
Altogether, 72 team members
- logged 7,430 exercises and 1,544 wellbeing actions
- slept 7.39 hours on average and
- cheered each other on 3,301 times.
For Siemens Industry Software, this is the bottom line. Smart people build smart solutions, and wellbeing at work is not a fluffy nice-to-have, but a crucial way to take care of and retain the talent of today, and attract the talent of the future.
