The 2022 Sports Gala celebrated not just the Athlete of the Year Award, but also Finland's Most Active Workplace Award. Congratulations, Arla Oy!
In addition Arla, Sony Music Finland and Visma Real Estate also made it to the final three.
The winners of the Finland's Most Active Workplace Award took to the stage with the Sportsperson of the Year, cross-country skier Iivo Niskanen, but there is much more to the Most Active Workplace concept than just sport. It encourages and incentivises companies to invest in the overall wellbeing of their staff and in the systematic implementation and management of physical activity.
We at Wellbeing Superstars by Liikkuva Suomi know something about that, too. Sony Music Finland, the finalist in the Finland's Most Active Workplace competition, and Wellbeing Superstars have been working together for four years to develop corporate culture and employee wellbeing.
Along the way, the Sony Music Finland team’s awareness of the factors affecting wellbeing in everyday life and at work have improved. From the beginning, coaching has been accompanied by joy and enthusiasm in working together and taking small steps towards feeling better in everyday life.
Wellbeing Superstars coaches Tiina Ven and Kirsi Roos have been part of Sony Music's journey and are happy about their place in the final: “Sony Music invests in the wellbeing of its employees, and that shows both in and outside the workplace. It has been a pleasure and an honour to be involved in developing long-term cooperation with the team, and sparring with both management and employees. People are the company's best competitive advantage and Sony Music is serious about keeping theirs. Congratulations to all the finalists!”
